About The North SeaTac Park & Ball Fields in WA

The North SeaTac Park & Ballfields is located in SeaTac, Washington, and is one of the top golfing destinations in the country. It has been the setting for movies and television shows, and golfing legend Jack Nicklaus has even written a book about it! It is a challenging 18-hole course located in a beautiful area and is just minutes from Pugilio Washington Beach.

The park was established in 1995 and has been home to the Emerald City Softball Association since 2005. The park is 55 acres in size and features soccer and softball fields, a cricket pitch, disc golf, and a BMX track. This park is said to be haunted, so keep an eye out for the hours and the curfew! To prevent accidents from happening during game time, it is best to arrive early if you plan on playing there.

There have been several recent developments related to the park’s future. The Port of Seattle has been proposing to build an employee parking garage in North SeaTac Park, which was subsequently removed from their Sustainable Airport Master Plan. Local community activists have continued to rally for the park and fight for its valuable forest. Recently, Councilmember Peter Kwon started a conversation between the city and the Port regarding ownership of the park. Mayor Jake Simpson referenced this CRF and asked for a resolution in support of purchasing the park from the Port.

As the city has become more prosperous, the ball fields and parks are increasingly popular. Residents enjoy ball games, concerts, and events that are held throughout the year. A number of parades and festivals take place in the area, including the annual three-day International Festival at Angle Lake Park in June. The city is also home to a large number of immigrants, including many from overseas. Despite this diversity, residents still have an easy time navigating the city.

The Seattle Parks Department is currently developing a 140-acre park. It is located on Des Moines Memorial Drive and 24th Avenue South. The park already has a five-year-old community center, a BMX bicycle-racing course, and an equestrian center. It also has two legit restrooms and a massage truck. If all of that doesn’t sound exciting enough, the Parks Department is working to come up with a comprehensive plan for the park.

As the city grows, the Ball Fields and Parks will become more important than ever. Both the Seattle and Tacoma airports will continue to be the primary airports in the region. And in the event of a future expansion, the city will have a new regional airport. And when you consider the price tag of the new facility, it will still be a bargain! And a lot of the residents of the second wave are buried in the Hillgrove Cemetery located near the south end of the Sea-Tac runway.

As the park is located in an area that has a rich history of human habitation, it is difficult to determine when it was first built. There are two separate leases with the Port of Seattle. The first one expires in 2041, while the second lease expires in 2070. The Seattle park also offers free street parking on Sundays. Alternatively, you can use the streetcar or Metro bus to get to the park.

If you’re a sports fan, you can try golfing at the nearby Seattle Municipal Golf Course. The course is flat and long with 27 holes. The course map can be found at the first tee, and most trees are well marked. The parking log off 20th Ave S is next to the first tee and 27th basket. There’s a good restaurant there too. And it’s open every day from 10am to 5pm, except on Wednesdays, when the course closes to 8pm.

During the summer, Lumen Field in Pioneer Square is an open-air multi-purpose stadium. Home to the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL, the Seattle Sounders FC of the MLS, and the OL Reign of the NWSL, the park is an ideal place for a concert. Its capacity is approximately 7000 and there are lockers for guests to keep their belongings. Other concerts held at the park include John Legend, Vampire Weekend, and Lana Del Rey.
